I just got a new laptop and I've got Windows 7 which I ADORE but I can't even find Windows Movie Maker which I'm a tad sad about because, how will I make my YouTube videos now!! Jess I'm also loving Windows 7. I've had it for a while now and its so much better than Vista. Anyway, Microsoft has all those extras that they used to have included in their operating systems, except now you can download them instead. Which is nice 'cause I never used most of them anyway, so its much lighter this way. You can download just the stuff you want. download.live.com/Great job on the new video Rachael! I enjoyed it

Thanks guys. Now this is an experiment...anyone seen Up? And the scene with the married couple and the pretty, pretty music? After its Oscar win for score, and remembering Carl's freakish resemblance to ST...this resulted. I'm overly fond of this one...love Michael Giacchino's work. Hope you like it.

Thanks guys! I love Up...
Two more today (a sign I really don't want to study for exams). One is just short...watched the first 2 1/2 seasons of Mad Men plus Desk Set in the space of one week. Both about offices in the late 50's/early 60's. Here is the unholy result. Thanks to Courtney for modifying the logo!
Then there is P!nk's gorgeous "Glitter in the Air", set to The Rainmaker. The lyrics just seem to suit it...somehow. Plus The Rainmaker has no tributes, at least that I can find...so I felt it deserved one, haha.

So, The Piano and LDJIN are two of my favourite movies. And they both feature the piano quite prominently. And the theme from the former was inspired by an Emily Dickinson poem- another favourite. So...it was inevitable.
