Sorry Katelings, I can't find my original thread where I was talking about wanting to make a Kate t-shirt. So back story for those of you who are new, in my local craft store I found these iron on transfers and a light bulb popped up in my head and I NEEDED a Kate t-shirt! Anyway, I did end up making two Kate t-shirts (and a third this morning but didn't have time to upload a picture of it before I came to college where I am now supposed to be doing work lol) The first one I made: Front: Back: Old ladies always comment on my shirts everywhere I go. It's great when people think you're so clever to make your own clothes when it's really just as easy as ironing it onto a cotton t-shirt LOL Jess

Ooooh! Those are darlin', Jess!
If there's one thing I've learned throughout the course of my ridiculousness at being a classic film personthing, it's if you slab an old movie star on your person, you automatically become a walking biddy target. Sometimes, when you're 6 and visiting your great grandmother at the nursing home, Deborah Kerr in the form of a VHS magically falls out of your Hello Kitty bag while in the sitting room [which is practically crawlin' with senior citizens!] And sometimes, when you're on a break from working ticket booth at the art/old people cinema, you just so happen to be reading a book with a BIG, ostentatious photo of Kate on the cover. [This tactic in most cases has backfired on me, for Kate is none too liked in the senior circuit as far as Buffalo, NY is concerned. Poor ol' Kate; they think she's obnoxious. HAHAHAHA.]

Bahahaa our lil Kate, obnoxious?! Phft!
I totally lost my grey shirt. I'm so sad. I was looking for it all weekend and still haven't found the thing grrr.. it's my favourite one too. I'm determined to find it!
I'll post a picture of the new shirt soon. It's like maroon or a dark purple. It's a wierd colour I guess but it's cool. It's hard to find different colours. You'd be surprised at how difficult it is to find 100% cotton t-shirts!

Thanks dreamer! Yeah, people always look at my shirt and go "ooh it's Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy!" We breed and show cats and my mum is a judge at cat shows and I am a steward (someone that helps the judge) etc.. and one of the cat judges whom I was stewarding with came up to me when I was wearing the grey shirt and said, "Oh, I LOVE that picture, was it from a movie or just a publicity still?" and I told her it's a still from Woman of the Year and she said, "The look in his eyes is like a satisfied male [cat] stud" hahaha and I said to her 'Only a cat person would know what you're talking about' and she was like "You know what I mean? Complete satisfaction with her. In awe of her!" She made my day, such a funny remark yet I knew exactly what she meant. It is a great picture knowing what would come of the two later.. Those are the sizes they come in so I was unable to make some of your awesome designs you came up with as they were so big, BUT now I have A4 ones! So I can make big images like some of the designs you and others came up with! Can someone refer me to that website with the 'large' images of Kate? You know the one I mean? I can't find it on my computer ANYWHERE! It has not only Kate but other stars and they supply LARGE images so they're great for printing big etc.... y'all know? Please if someone has it Jess

Great shirts! I love wearing shirts with old movie stars because you are right they do get noticed. Poor Kate is found annoying by some I know my parents find her annoying. My Mom is always imitating her and I'm all like whatever.

Even though I have no idea what you're on about, I still managed to laugh out loud in class at college at your post Amber. [...] haha thanks for liking my shirts pally And oh, I know what you mean Tracy Lord, by some anti-Kate peeps. I think I've had a year's worth of Kate haters in recent weeks lol lucikily people in real life in Sydney aren't too bad. I haven't come accross any 'haters' I think more than anything, people ask 'where did you buy the shirts from?' because they know they haven't seen them in "Target" lol.. I should say 'oh, an exclusive store for Hepburn fans in which we can only enter with a secret code' or something just for amusement one day.. why not lol Jess
