Thanks for the ideas Amber. I liked the tree idea but I couldn't do it and it just ended up looking really cheesy. I was about to give up when I had the idea to do one from The Lion in Winter instead, as it's set around Christmas time. And it's one of my favourite movies of Kate's. Love Gem

The Lion in Winter wallpaper was a bit naff, so I did a new one. It isn't really a Christmas one either, but it's better than the last one. You're only as good as your last creation! Love Gem

I love them both; I can't decide which I like more. The WoTY one has great pictures of Kate and Spence.

Oh wow, TLIW one was my desktop, but then I gave the Christmas theme the cane when I saw the WOTY one. So pretty! And yes, Spence and Kate are uber-cute in it, as well. That helped, of course.

That's purdy. Of course Kate is beautiful in any pic from Woman of the Year. What program do you use to make your wallpapers? Photoshop?

I'm not sure where it's from Shawn. I just found it on my computer. I think it may be from LIW though, because there is a picture of her wearing that white shirt in the picture with Peter O Toole and she is in the doorway laughing.
Leaving in an hour and not even dressed or packed yet!!

Leaving in an hour and not even dressed or packed yet!! Love Gem Hi, guys - Smith's right; it's from the set of Long Day's Journey Into Night.... Gem - you made me laugh out loud....One could look at a photo of her from 1942 and one from 1972 and she'd STILL be wearing the same clothes!!! so that's not the best clue in the world :-) I know that one you are talking about from LIW - another great shot. But if you look closely at THIS one - one of my very favorites, by the way so thanks for reminding me of it - you can see that she is too young for LIW....Also, catch the paper hair curler :-) :-) Judy

I love that picture! It made me think of you Judy... ;D My selective memory recalls you saying that was your fave. And yeah, Kate's clothing selection seemed to be pretty limited. But classic... can't go wrong with that. One thing though.... those double strap sandals. Not too bad WITHOUT socks... but with? Ugh.
