Hi there:
Has anyone had a chance to look at the new DVDs of Bringing Up Baby, The Philadelphia Story or Stage Door? What do you think, especially of the extras?

the bringing up baby commentary is hilarious. i was cracking up with peter bogdanovich. stage door doesn't have much in the way of special features. it has a radio release of the movie with ginger rogers.. but no kate so it's not worth listening to! i bought that movie without seeing it. kate isn't in it near enough but it's still a good film... the quality on all is great.
on the topic of special features... was anyone else annoyed with the desk set commentary? the booming, artificial voice of neva patterson was distracting... very rehearsed. but i did get to find out how much the earth weighs and how much it gains everyday (a ton everyday from cosmic dust!). what was the weight of the earth? something like 6,200,000,000,000,000,000,000.
