Lucky for me, before I started buying the books, I read everything you guys wrote here about books so I decided to start with Me and Kanin's book. I loved both of them. I also have Taschen and next I'm planning to buy Prideaux and Making of the African Queen. When I was in London two months ago, I was in this bookstore when I saw a book with Kate on the cover for just 5 pounds and my heart leapt for a second, but then I saw it was written by Mann so I turned around and walked away.

The same thing happened to me. I walked into a book store that has lots of biographies and i saw the book but the picture in the cover was different, so I thought 'oh wow!' and then I read the title... U_U

Aw Martha, thank you ;D but if it weren't for you girls I wouldn't have known Mann is not worth buying. I would have probably bought it and then at page 10 I would regret I didn't spend these five pounds on a cup of coffee or something LOL @charliesgirl, thank you for the recommendation, I must read Berg too.
