Oh my God they did a re-enactment! Some woman with Lucille-Ball-red hair was shown kneeling down on the ground holding a picture of Howard Hughes. At least they strived for some accuracy--she was wearing the trademark white and red. And is it written law now that no one but Scott Berg can speak about Kate? Seriously, he's riding her coattails. I didn't see the whole program but that part traumatized me. Yep, the re-enactment sucked big time. Kate dressed in gorgeous slacks and shirt reading the script of GWTW -- yeah, like she'd dress like that at the Fenwick house when she was sitting around relaxing. But even sillier was showing Kate in the rubble of the hurricane wearing full makeup, red and white polka dot slacks and open-toed wedgies brushing mud from a Hughes' photo when every real photo of her on that day shows mudcaked sneakers, blue jeans, and an exhausted looking Kate wearing no makeup. At least the actual photos shown of Kate were very good and the story of the hurricane itself was told acurately. The school bus incident did occur and the Moore family riding their attic floor like a raft to safety did happen. Why can't the "real" story as it occurred ever be enough for television???

I missed the part where she was reading the GWTW script. Lucky me.

I was tempted to stop watching after the first hour, but the second half picked up and held my interest better. As for the re-enactments; I'm afraid I'll have to agree with both Sherry and Shaun on this one. Funny thing is, we tend to be harsher critics when it comes to Kate and her life. And Sherry brought up some great points.
I have no doubt that everything else mentioned in the program are true. In fact, I enjoyed it. Just not the ones at Fenwick.
