Each year my Sunday paper puts out a section with holiday highlights and I was disappointed to find that One Christmas won't be airing...at least here anyway. I feel jipped. How is this movie...is it worthy enough to be shown each year at Christmastime?

Um...what to say about One Christmas? Well, it is a Kate movie and that makes it a requirement to see, but it isn't let's just say "Oscar material." I mean, not that that says anything, because some films are made for pure enjoyment but eh...what I did was just fast-forward to where I saw Kate and then skip the rest. Henry Winkler is just ..The Fonz! (Funny thing about him, my Great Uncle and him were college roomates!)..It's adorable because Kath is all cute and says her little diddy at the end about how she has always done what she wanted to do in her life and so fourth, but really just for that. ;D

I did the same thing! I fast-forwarded. I don't even remember her part in that movie...

I just finshed this movie and I too fast forwarded though most of it unless Kate was on. I can understand why it was her last film although it pains me to say that. Her voice was strong and her eyes were bright but you could tell she was struggling physically. Her lines were very Katharine Hepburn. Does anyone know was she told to adlib her own lines or was it written for her? Her scene with the boy and her last monolog seemed very reminiscent of her life.
