Happy would-be 105, Kate!!!
I've been mucking about in the garden, all day -- seemed an appropriate way to spend her birthday.

I'm embarrassed to say how long it has been since I watched a Katharine Hepburn movie but I never forget to think about the lady on her birthday.

Good to know you're still around. I'm kind of embarrassed too. Only with me, it's embarrassment at how frequently I watch Katharine Hepburn movies. Over and over. Like today. You'd think I'd know the plots by now ;D

Yes, indeed, Happy Birthday! ;D
Even if I haven't watched a movie of hers in a while, May 12 always sticks out to me...

I'm proud to say I revisited Holiday and it's as fine a movie as I remember. This may be love all over again. Hepburn gives me an ounce of something extra my other favorite movie queens don't. It's not definable.

Oh, Shaun.
Holiday > TPS, personally.
I either didn't know OR it slipped my mind that E.E.H. had played Nick Potter in the 1930 version of Holiday. Probably the latter, as I don't trust my brain anymore. Has anyone seen the Ann Harding version? I'm curious how it rates.
This has been a charming family reunion, by the by.
